Adrienne Theatre
2030 Sansom Street
Philadelphia, PA 19103
New City Stage Company is currently in residence at the Adrienne Theatre in the Rittenhouse Square district of Philadelphia. We have been performing all of our regular season shows here since our 2009-10 season. There are 4 theatres located in this complex, the Main Stage and the Playground (both on the first floor), the Second Stage (on the second floor), and the Skybox at the Adrienne (on the third floor). In addition to these varied performing arts spaces, the Adrienne is also home several other theatre companies and to the MacGuffin Film and Theatre Company and the Shamabala Meditation Center.
We currently use the Main Stage and the Second Stage for our productions. The Main Stage seats 106 patrons and the Second Stage seats 60 patrons. Our September Fringe Festival show is performed at Symmetry Dance Wellness. Please visit our on line box office to see where our current production is taking place.
The Adrienne is also the cornerstone of the 2000 block of Sansom Street and has easy access to public transportation, convenient parking, dining options, bars and other cultural organizations. This block of Sansom Street has become a destination of choice for sophisticated nightlife in Philadelphia, featuring the Helium Comedy Club, the Roxy Cinema, and the Academy of Social Dance.
